Arden Lowndes is Senior Counsel in the Charleston office of GRSM. She is an experienced litigator who is able to creatively and successfully work towards the best resolution for her clients both in and out of the courtroom. Over her many years of practice, Arden has litigated a broad spectrum of cases in state and federal courts for individuals, small businesses, and large international corporations in matters big and small.  Her representative experience includes a wide variety of practice areas, including commercial litigation, admiralty, probate, insurance coverage, product defects, motor vehicle accidents, and premises liability. Now, she largely focuses on representing construction and related design professionals as part of the Construction, Commercial Litigation, and Professional Liability practice groups.

A Charleston native, Arden graduated summa cum laude from Clemson University and was tapped to join Phi Beta Kappa. She later graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Carolina School of Law. During law school, she served as Managing Editor of Volume 68 of the South Carolina Law Review and received numerous academic awards and honors, including membership in the Order of the Wig and Robe and Order of the Coif.
