Keith E. Sharkin is a Partner in the New Jersey and New York offices of GRSM and is a member of the Intellectual Property Practice Group. Keith has over 30 years of experience handling trademark, copyright, unfair competition, false advertising, trade dress, dilution and domain name matters. Keith has worked with companies of all sizes, from the world’s largest corporations to start-up companies and has experience in a broad range of industries including consumer products, pharmaceuticals, apparel, jewelry, fashion, electronics, automotive, and transportation. He has litigated cases in federal courts throughout the United States, has handled hundreds of opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and has handled numerous domain name disputes. Keith also provides counsel to clients on clearance of trademarks, prosecution of applications at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, brand management and enforcement, licensing, due diligence and international filings and litigation. Keith works closely with clients to meet their business objectives and resolve matters successfully and cost-effectively.

Keith is a member of the bars of the States of New York and New Jersey, and is admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the District of New Jersey, and the Second, Third and Federal Circuit Courts of Appeal. He is an active member of the International Trademark Association, and a member of the New York and New Jersey State Bar Associations. Keith has been identified as a leading trademark attorney by the World Trademark Review 2012-2016.

Keith received his Bachelor of Arts from Fairleigh Dickinson University and graduated from Creighton University School of Law.
