Kyla’s practice includes complex wage and hour disputes, including class actions and PAGA representative actions, and litigation of wrongful termination, retaliation, employment discrimination and harassment claims.
During her time in law school, Kyla clerked for the Honorable Scott H. Yun at the United States Bankruptcy Court and served as a research assistant for Dean and Donald P. Kennedy Chair in Law, Matt Parlow. Kyla also served as the President of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association and Vice President of the Chapman Women Lawyers Association.
Prior to joining GRSM, Kyla worked at firms that aggressively litigated wage and hour class actions and PAGA representative actions in state and federal courts and represented employees in wrongful termination, retaliation, discrimination, and harassment cases.
