Michael J. Schacher is Senior Counsel in the Westchester office of GRSM and is a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. Michael handles all aspects of litigation from inception through trial, including depositions, mediation, settlement, oral arguments and appeals. He specializes in several areas of civil litigation including complex litigation, premises liability, motor vehicle, products liability, construction, labor law, employment, appellate practice and insurance coverage issues in both State and Federal Court in New York and New Jersey.
Recent representative matters Michael has handled include obtaining summary judgment for the firm’s client in a premises liability matter, obtaining summary judgment in a high exposure Division I sports injury action against a major northeast university, and obtaining a reversal on a motion for summary judgment on liability in a serious injury motor vehicle accident venued in Federal Court.
