Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani Celebrates First Anniversary of its 50-State Milestone

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani is celebrating its one-year anniversary of becoming the first and only 50-state law firm.  With attorneys and offices in all 50 states, Gordon & Rees is able to provide clients with seamless and uninterrupted service nationwide.

The firm’s strong growth over the past year has propelled its size to over 1,000 attorneys and seen it reach the ranks of the 25 largest firms in the United States (per Law360) and the 60 largest in the world (per National Law Journal)

The nationwide strategy was created to meet client demands for a 50-state platform that would provide consistently outstanding legal services throughout the nation, and was developed in parallel with the ongoing growth and consolidation of American businesses and industries that has taken place over the past several decades.

“This milestone anniversary of being the only law firm in the country with offices in all 50 states provides us an opportunity to reaffirm our enduring commitment to meeting the marketplace’s need for a truly national firm capable of handling engagements anywhere in the country,” observed Dion Cominos, Firmwide Managing Partner.

The firm has continued its growth during 2020, and Cominos further noted that, “our ability to support and service our clients without fail throughout the entirety of the COVID Pandemic serves as a further testament to the viability and durability of our national platform, the resiliency of our attorneys and staff, and the superlative technological capabilities embedded within the firm.”

Gordon & Rees was further recognized by American Lawyer, which named it among the Am Law 100 for the first time in the firm’s history.  In fact, Gordon & Rees was among the top 10 firms in terms of year-over-year change in revenue, up by roughly 12 percent compared to an average growth rate of only five (5) percent across the Am Law 100 generally.

In addition, the firm has continued to expand over the past year, opening additional offices, increasing attorney headcount by more than 10 percent, and increasing staff by more than six (6) percent.  Throughout, Gordon & Rees has maintained its steadfast commitment to diversity and inclusion, continuing to climb among the ranks of the top 45 firms for diverse attorneys and top 25 firms for female attorneys as recognized by American Lawyer and National Law Journal respectively.
