Gordon & Rees Bolsters Employment Law Practice with the Addition of Laura Ackermann as Co-Managing Partner of Albuquerque Office

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, the nation's first and only law firm with offices in all 50 states, welcomes Laura Ackermann as a partner in the firm's Albuquerque and Phoenix offices. Joining the Employment Law, Commercial Litigation, and the Professional Liability practice groups, Ackermann is the 43rd new partner to join the firm this year and will serve as Co-Managing Partner of the Albuquerque office. 

Ackermann focuses her practices in the areas of professional liability, including personal injury, employment and human relations law, professional liability law, health law, civil rights, and public sector law, long-term care defense, and public utility law.

"We are pleased to welcome Laura to our New Mexico office, where she will bring her diverse talents to our firm," shared Ken Ferguson, Co-Managing Partner of the firm’s Austin and Albuquerque offices. "As a partner, she will contribute her extensive legal knowledge and skills, and we're excited to have her as the Co-Managing Partner of our Albuquerque office."

Ackermann is admitted to practice in New Mexico, Arizona, Hawaii, and U.S. District Courts for the Districts of New Mexico, Arizona, and Hawaii and Ninth Circuit and Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. She earned her law degree from Whittier College School of Law and her undergraduate degree from Northern Arizona University.

She is a member of the State Bar of New Mexico, Arizona, and Hawaii.
