Gordon & Rees Partner Diane Krebs to Discuss Summary Judgment Strategy at DRI Seminar

Gordon & Rees New York partner Diane Krebs will discuss litigation skills at a May 7 presentation at the 37th annual Defense Research Institute Employment and Labor Law Seminar.

At a 3:50 p.m. workshop titled “Setting Your Case Up for Dismissal From Day 1: Strategic Tips for Obtaining Summary Judgment,” Krebs will speak on how to dispose of a discrimination lawsuit on summary judgment by developing a record to support the motion. She also will address how to design and implement a successful summary judgment strategy.

DRI’s Employment and Labor Law Seminar will be held May 7-9 at the Montelucia Resort in Scottsdale, Ariz. The educational and networking event provides novice and experienced practitioners with practical skills and advice they can use to succeed in the courtroom and the boardroom.

Krebs’ practice focuses on civil rights and labor and employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, defamation, civil service, equal pay, and wage-and-hour claims. She represents companies in litigation before federal, state and local courts, mediators and arbitrators, and administrative agencies including the New York State Division of Human Rights and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
