On Thursday, March 5, 2020, Los Angeles partner Brenda Radmacher will moderate the "Groundbreaking Leaders in AEC" panel during Women in Construction (WIC) week.
The Women in Construction Week "Groundbreaking Leaders in AEC" Luncheon panel will feature a discussion with executive leaders from private and public sector organizations within the design, engineering and construction disciplines.
The focus of WIC Week is to highlight the many contributions of women in the construction industry, as spearheaded by the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Los Angeles Chapter and sponsored by Women Construction Owners & Executives (WCOE) as well as other industry organizations supporting diversity and inclusion in the construction field. Additionally, WIC Week provides an occasion to raise awareness of the opportunities available for women in the construction industry and to emphasize the growing role of women in the industry.
Radmacher is a noted expert in construction law and is called on as a counselor, litigator, and noted speaker in regard to issues involving land owners, general contractors, developers, builders, and design professionals. She has a varied practice with significant experience in representing companies to address risk management issues, handling their litigation, and drafting critical documents and procedures. Radmacher is a Board Member of WCOE and representing the organization on this panel.
