San Francisco Partner Alyson Cabrera has been named to the Daily Journal’s Top Labor & Employment Lawyers list for 2025. This award acknowledges California lawyers who have made significant contributions to labor and employment law.
Ms. Cabrera has built her legal career around defending employers and management in complex employment and labor disputes, with a focus on healthcare organizations and academic institutions. As a senior partner at GRSM, she has spent nearly her entire 23-year career with the firm. Recent trials have involved disability accommodation and whistleblower allegations in sensitive medical environments.
“I’m grateful for this honor, which reflects not only my commitment to my legal practice but the strong collaboration and support from clients and colleagues who make these successes possible,” shared Ms. Cabrera.
Ms. Cabrera has a strong track record of success in trials, arbitrations and law and motion. Notably, Daily Journal recognized one of Ms. Cabrera’s summary judgment victories as a Top Defense Case in 2017. In addition to her litigation work, she dedicates significant time to mentoring junior lawyers and has served as the standing coach for UC Law San Francisco’s National Appellate Advocacy Competition team since 2002.
