Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani welcomes Erik McLain as a Partner in the firm’s San Diego office. His broad legal background adds depth to the firm’s capabilities and supports the firm’s continued expansion throughout Southern California.
McLain has more than 24 years of experience representing clients in both state and federal courts, including significant trial work. His practice focuses on complex litigation, with an emphasis on business disputes, shareholder and commercial litigation, general liability matters, and large-scale construction conflicts. He also has extensive experience defending employers, directors, and officers in wage and hour claims, discrimination cases, derivative actions, and matters involving director and officer liability.

He is admitted to practice in California, New York, the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Central, Eastern, and Southern Districts of California, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He earned his law degree from Whittier Law School and his undergraduate degree from St. John’s University.
