Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani has been recognized with the Corporate Pride Award by the San Francisco Business Times (SFBT), which honors Bay Area companies that demonstrate a sustained commitment to advancing LGBTQ+ equality in both the workplace and the broader community. The recognition marks the first time a law firm has received the award.
The award celebrates GRSM’s unyielding dedication to diversity. Under the leadership of Diversity Committee Co-Chair Laura De Santos and LGBTQ+ Affinity Group Co-Chair Dominic Campodonico, GRSM has earned a decade of recognition in the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index for workplace inclusion, drawing the attention of the SFBT as a standout candidate for the award.
“What makes this recognition especially meaningful is the consistency behind it. For many years, GRSM has supported its LGBTQ+ employees not only professionally, but personally, encouraging authentic leadership, community involvement, and long-term growth. That culture of support creates a stronger firm and a deeper sense of belonging for everyone here,” shared Campodonico.
As Managing Editor Owen Thomas of the SFBT observed, “It’s easy to see that diversity is a core value for GRSM.” De Santos echoed this sentiment, noting that these consistent values are integral to the firm’s culture, allowing employees to move from office to office and feel the same strong sense of continuity and belonging.
Amid evolving conversations around DEI, GRSM has held fast to these values, maintaining that diverse backgrounds and perspectives are central to the firm’s strength. “It might just be our superpower,” added De Santos.
GRSM will accept the award at the SFBT’s 12th annual Business of Pride Celebration and Awards Ceremony on June 2.
