Richard L. Andrews Jr. is a Partner in the San Diego office and a member of the firm’s Employment practice. He defends businesses in a variety of employment-related administrative charges, arbitration, and litigation, including claims of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and violations of wage-and-hour law. His experience extends to general civil litigation matters, navigating clients through business disputes and torts, cannabis disputes, land use matters, contract disputes, and intellectual property matters.
Amy E. Buice is a Partner in the Charleston office and a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Antitrust practices. Buice has extensive antitrust experience in civil and criminal matters across the country, including multi-level class actions, direct-action/opt-out actions, and investigations by the Antitrust Division of the United States Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission. Buice also advises clients on antitrust compliance and monitoring policies and everyday antitrust and unfair competition issues. She has assisted a wide array of clients with antitrust matters, including manufacturers, food producers, non-profits, and trade associations.
B. Ryan Fellman is a Partner in the Dallas office and a member of the firm’s Professional Liability Defense practice. Fellman practices in state and federal courts across Texas, Georgia, and other jurisdictions. He has extensive experience representing professionals in malpractice litigation and state board matters, businesses in contractual, tort, and fiduciary claims, insurers in coverage and bad faith litigation, manufacturers and retailers in product liability and wrongful death cases, and providing coverage opinions for international and domestic insurers across various insurance claims, including property, general liability, and professional liability.
Robin Foret is a Partner in the Houston office and a member of the firm’s Employment practice. Foret’s practice includes traditional employment-related matters, employment litigation, agency complaints, and employment-related regulatory compliance that includes EEOC, OSHA, DOL, NLRB, and FLSA laws. She has first-chair trial experience in state and federal courts in employment matters, as well as complex commercial litigation. She has successfully represented clients in AAA and FINRA arbitrations and in EEOC, DOL, and NLRB agency matters. She is a mediator and an arbitrator for FINRA.
Lincoln C. Hatfield is a Partner in the Tulsa office and a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation practice. He has more than ten years of litigation, research, and writing experience. Hatfield’s primary focus includes oil and gas matters, general litigation, and regulatory compliance. He has a proven track record of success representing clients in day-to-day, complex, and high-stakes cases involving all types of matters, utilizing innovative and effective legal strategies. Hatfield is admitted to practice in Oklahoma and earned his law degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
Christopher T. Johnson is a Partner in the San Diego office and a member of the firm’s Environment & Toxic Tort practice. Johnson’s practice centers on environmental compliance, regulation, and litigation, with emphasis on hazardous and toxic substances, air quality regulation, and groundwater contamination. He has particular experience with Superfund and hazardous waste laws and regulations, especially the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). He has represented clients before the United States Environmental Protection Agency and California agencies.
William M. Mitchell is a Partner in the Tampa office and a member of the firm’s Insurance practice. In addition to his pre-suit claim investigation and insurance coverage work, Mitchell’s experience includes multiple jury trials where he served as the first chair/ lead counsel and handled limited appellate work. He has experience with a wide range of insurance defense-related matters, such as first-party property damage, third-party liability, construction defect, defective design or professional liability involving architects and engineers, premises liability, windshield replacement, and general liability throughout all stages of litigation.
Erin B. Newman is a Partner in the San Francisco office and a member of the firm’s Insurance practice. Newman joined GRSM in 2021 after 15 years as an appellate judicial attorney in the First District Court of Appeal. Having drafted more than 400 appellate opinions in both civil and criminal appeals, she brought with her substantive knowledge on a wide range of subject matters, including insurance coverage, as well as exceptional writing and analytical skills. Newman’s current practice involves insurance coverage matters in federal and state courts.
Max H. Trembitsky is a Partner in the New York office and a member of the firm’s Product Liability practice. Trembitsky focuses his practice on product liability defense, representing domestic and international manufacturers and distributors in civil litigation across the United States and internationally. As a litigator, he has secured favorable results for his clients both before and during litigation, as well as at the appellate levels. Prior to joining the firm, he gained extensive experience defending complex, high-exposure medical malpractice matters and was part of a litigation team representing a major U.S. automobile manufacturer in asbestos litigation.
