The plaintiff, a relative of a former patient at the facility, alleged a series of negligence and professional negligence claims in connection with care that the patient received relating to an alleged choking incident at the facility. GRSM pursued aggressive discovery to refute the plaintiff’s claims, which resulted in GRSM moving for summary judgment at the close of discovery.
GRSM’s motion underscored the futility of the plaintiff’s claims, which led to a voluntary dismissal of all claims, with prejudice by the plaintiff.
