Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani attorney Le’Ron Byrd has been selected for the second consecutive year to join The National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40, an organization that honors outstanding African American legal professionals. Attorneys selected for this honor undergo a comprehensive nomination and vetting process, recognizing their exceptional legal skills and contributions to the field.
Byrd is an Associate in the Raleigh office and a member of the Commercial Litigation practice. He focuses his practice on civil disputes for businesses, nonprofit organizations, post-judgment collection proceedings across the country, and individual clients in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration and regulatory proceedings across North Carolina. He also handles professional liability matters, including the defense of healthcare providers, insurance agents and brokers, and attorneys. Additionally, Byrd frequently represents design professionals in construction defect and delay claims.
Byrd currently serves as Council Member and Treasurer of the Litigation Section of the North Carolina Bar Association, where he also chairs the Diversity Committee. In this role, he actively promotes inclusivity, equity, and representation, working to create a more diverse and welcoming legal environment.
