Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani welcomes Nathan Piller as a Partner in the firm’s Los Angeles office. He strengthens the Employment practice, enhancing the firm’s presence in Southern California.
Piller advises employers across the state of California on the rapidly changing workplace laws, including various aspects of wage-and-hour compliance. He is an experienced litigator who has served as lead counsel in dozens of high-stakes class and collective action cases in employment law, among other areas.
“I was drawn to GRSM because of its strong culture and reputation for thoughtful, collaborative client service,” said Piller. “I’m excited to focus on advice and counsel work, helping employers navigate California’s complex wage-and-hour laws. My goal is to leverage my litigation experience to provide clear, practical guidance that mitigates risk and supports informed decisions, while growing the firm’s advice and counsel practice.”
He is admitted to practice in California, the U.S. District Court for the Central, Southern, Northern, and Eastern Districts of California, the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of New York, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He earned his law degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
