Susan Best, Co-Chair of the firm’s Education group and part of the firm’s Employment and Commercial practice groups, has been named an honoree in the 6th Annual Top Women in Law Awards by Law Bulletin Media, publisher of Chicago Daily Law Bulletin and Chicago Lawyer.
The selection process for the Top Women in Law honorees involves a comprehensive review of nominations from across the legal community, evaluating each candidate’s professional accomplishments, leadership, and commitment to advancing other women in the profession. Best was selected from hundreds of nominees for her exemplary leadership and success in the legal field.
Best is an accomplished trial lawyer with extensive experience representing public and private entities in complex litigation. She regularly handles matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, constitutional claims, breach of contract, and the enforcement of non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, as well as a broad range of commercial disputes. In addition to her litigation practice, Best counsels clients on critical workplace and compliance issues, including Title IX, anti-discrimination policies, discipline and leave management, accommodations, payroll compliance, and best practices for creating inclusive and compliant workplaces.
