Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani welcomes William Martin as a Partner in the firm’s Atlanta office. He strengthens the Commercial Litigation practice, deepening the firm’s bench in Georgia.
Martin is a seasoned trial lawyer with extensive experience representing businesses in personal injury and wrongful death litigation. His practice encompasses a wide range of cases, including premises liability, product liability, and commercial transportation, as well as complex civil litigation arising from third-party criminal acts. Martin frequently represents property owners, managers, and business operators in high-stakes litigation involving third-party criminal acts on their property.
He has held a Martindale-Hubbell® AV-Preeminent® peer review rating since 2014 and has received a Best Lawyers in America© distinction in Personal Injury Litigation – Defendants since 2024. He was previously named a Super Lawyers® Rising Star in Civil Litigation – Defense, every year from 2013 to 2020.
Martin is admitted to practice in Georgia, Connecticut, the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Southern, and Middle Districts of Georgia, the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He earned his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.
