Amanda worked with the Women’s Employment Rights Clinic (WERC), where she provided legal assistance to underserved individuals seeking employment law advice and served as a legal representative in mediations. She also worked with the Tax Appeal Assistance Program (TAAP) through the Franchise Tax Board, offering support to those unable to afford legal representation, including preparing cases to be presented before the Office of Tax Appeals (OTA). Additionally, she interned at the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office, gaining critical insight into criminal defense work and further developed her trial skills.
She continued to hone her litigation abilities through the Summer Trial and Evidence Program (STEP) and Mock Trial at Golden Gate University School of Law. She was also a member of Intellectual Property & Privacy Law Association and the Society of Litigators.
