She has extensive experience defending healthcare providers against Section 1983 claims across various disciplines, including medical, dental, nursing and mental health in correctional facilities, juvenile justice centers, and mental health facilities in Illinois and Missouri. Abbey has developed a reputation for being a zealous advocate and implementing thoughtful litigation strategies for effective and efficient client-centric results.
- Obtained multiple successful federal appeals, including upholding of a correctional medicine client’s application of a key healthcare management program aimed at effectively managing and enhancing patient care.
