Alexandra Krakovsky

Senior Counsel

Alexandra Krakovsky brings more than two decades of experience navigating complex commercial litigation and environmental toxic tort matters across a wide range of industries. Combining a strong litigation background with a solid understanding of the science behind the issues, Alexandra partners with clients to address intricate disputes involving toxic exposures, regulatory compliance, and product liability.

Alexandra has extensive experience representing clients in environmental toxic tort litigation involving silica, asbestos, mold, paint products, and other hazardous exposures. She has developed successful defense strategies in Proposition 65 cases and regularly counsels clients on regulatory compliance, product testing, and expert defense. Alexandra’s technical fluency in toxicology, epidemiology, exposure modeling, and environmental transport allows for clear, effective communication of complex scientific issues to judges, juries, and stakeholders.

In the commercial litigation space, Alexandra has represented companies ranging from emerging businesses to established enterprises in disputes involving breach of contract, real estate, construction, partnership and shareholder conflicts, unfair competition, and business torts. She has worked closely with clients in manufacturing, energy, real estate, healthcare, consumer products, and media to resolve complex legal and operational challenges through strategic litigation and risk mitigation.

Alexandra’s experience includes handling disputes over supply chain breakdowns, licensing and distribution agreements, indemnity and warranty claims, and fraud allegations. She is particularly adept at navigating litigation that involves technically detailed contracts or cross-disciplinary issues, drawing on a deep understanding of industry practices and regulatory considerations.

With a practical, solution-oriented mindset, Alexandra frequently advises clients not only during active litigation, but also pre-dispute, helping to identify exposure, assess contractual risk, and negotiate favorable outcomes. She has led all phases of litigation, including motion practice, discovery strategy, depositions, expert management, and trial preparation, as well as alternative dispute resolution through mediation and arbitration.
