Alexander Higginbotham is an experienced litigation attorney. He maintains a diverse legal practice that includes the areas of labor and employment, products liability, personal injury, premises liability, professional malpractice, contract disputes, and general counseling. He brings his experience in the courtroom and passion for advocacy and litigation to assist clients across the country with a wide variety of needs, including day-to-day counseling, administrative agency proceedings, and every stage of civil litigation.

Upon finishing law school, Alexander worked at the Clay County, MO Prosecuting Attorney’s Office as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney and as Public Information Officer. As a prosecutor, he litigated a wide variety of cases, ranging from civil actions to enforce, establish, or modify orders for child support to criminal prosecutions of violent felonies. As Public Information Officer, he served as the official spokesperson for the office, drafting press releases, organizing press conferences, and responding to all media or public inquires.

Alexander then spent two years at an Am Law 200 law firm handling all stages of civil litigation in insurance defense matters that included claims of employment discrimination, breach of contract, professional malpractice, and premises liability. During this time, Higginbotham took depositions, conducted mediations, drafted motions, and advocated in the courtroom on behalf of clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small business owners.
