Alexander L. Bakes

Alex Bakes focuses his practice on commercial civil litigation in New York and New Jersey’s federal and state courts. Alexander represents a diverse range of clients, including private organizations, federal credit unions and national franchises, in class actions and individual matters. He has experience defending large product liability class actions, franchisor-franchisee disputes and even personal injury lawsuits. He also has experience handling all stages of litigation and arbitration.

Alex received his undergraduate degree from Wesleyan University with a major in Economics in 2016.  He then graduated from the University of California-Los Angeles School of Law in 2021.  While in law school, Alex worked for two years as a research assistant to various professors with a focus on assisting a particular professor to write a book on the history of the juvenile justice system in the United States.
