Amy B. Royal has more than 25 years of experience representing management in labor and employment matters. Amy advises and defends employers across the full spectrum of workplace disputes and has extensive experience handling complex employment litigation from inception through trial and appeal. She has successfully defended employers against claims involving wage and hour violations, including class actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, disability and accommodation, and workplace safety.

Amy also represents unionized companies during collective bargaining and organizing campaigns and with respect to employee grievances and unfair labor practice charges.

Amy regularly provides proactive guidance to clients on general workplace matters, including managing challenging workplace situations, drafting personnel policies, conducting management training and employment practices audits, and implementing affirmative action plans.
