Amy E. Buice focuses her practice on antitrust and commercial litigation matters. She offers extensive antitrust experience, such as civil and criminal matters around the country, including multi-level class actions, direct-action/opt-out actions, investigations by the Antitrust Division of the United States Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission, and advising clients on antitrust-compliance and monitoring policies and everyday antitrust and unfair competition issues.

She has assisted dynamic clients with antitrust matters, such as manufacturers, food producers, non-profits, and trade associations. As a commercial litigator, she has worked on diverse matters, including matters involving business torts, such as trademark infringement, breach of contract, tortious interference, and more, and product liability issues. She is honored to serve as a board member of the Corporate Counsel Section of the Atlanta Bar Association and the Antitrust Section of the State Board of Georgia.

Amy happily participates in pro bono efforts. Some of her most meaningful work includes work done with nonprofit Georgia Appleseed as a FAIR pro bono attorney fighting for Georgia’s most marginalized kids. Through the program, she has represented children in the foster care system in school discipline cases to make sure the children and their guardians receive outcomes that keep the kids on the path to successfully complete high school.

While in law school, she participated in the Community Health Law Partnership Clinic and used the Violence Against Women Act to help a client independently retain permanent residency without relying on an abusive former partner. She competed on the moot court team, placed as finalist at the 2018 William B. Spong National Moot Court Competition, and won the 1L Beaird First-Year Closing Argument Competition. She also served as a Notes Editor on the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law and as a judicial intern for the Honorable Lawton Stephens, Judge of the Athens-Clarke County Superior Court. During college, she served as a judicial intern for the Honorable David C. Norton, Judge of the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina.
