Anafrancesca Comunale is Senior Counsel with GRSM’s San Diego Office. She is a member of the firm’s Employment practice group.

Prior to joining GRSM, Anafrancesca’s practice focused primarily on civil matters involving business litigation, consumer class actions, landlord/tenant disputes, compliance regulation, and intellectual property defense.

Adjacent to her litigation career, Anafrancesca has served as a court-certified and community mediator in San Diego since 2017, mediating hundreds of cases to resolution. She believes the skills she uses to guide parties through a mediation complement her in the courtroom as an advocate for employers and their companies.

While in law school, Anafrancesca clerked for the Office of the Attorney General in the Business and Tax Division. She also interned at the University of San Diego School of Law’s Veterans Legal Clinic, where she drafted disability appeals and discharge upgrade requests on behalf of veterans appearing before the Board for Correction of Naval Records and the Discharge Review Board.
