Ashar Philson is an Associate in the San Francisco office of GRSM, where she focuses on healthcare litigation. With a background in trademark prosecution, privacy compliance, and contract analysis, Ashar brings a versatile skill set to supporting healthcare providers and organizations as they navigate regulatory and litigation challenges. She is committed to finding creative, efficient solutions to complex legal issues while ensuring that clients’ business objectives are met.

While earning her law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law, Ashar served as the Senior Articles Editor of the Intellectual Property and Technology Law Journal and as Co-Vice President of the Black Law Student Association. She gained practical experience in intellectual property law as a Student Clinician and later as a Trademark Staff Attorney, helping clients protect their brand assets through trademark filings and office action responses. These experiences honed Ashar's analytical and advocacy skills, which she now applies to complex healthcare and regulatory matters.
