Brian M. Peters, Jr. focuses his practice on commercial litigation and appellate law. He is licensed in Florida, South Carolina, and North Carolina. Prior to joining GRSM, Brian practiced in Miami, Florida at a regional civil defense firm and in Spartanburg, South Carolina at a boutique, civil litigation firm, handling both litigation and appeals.

In 2018, Brian graduated from Messiah University, located in his hometown of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania—with a B.A. in History and Spanish with a minor in Art History. At Messiah, he studied abroad for a semester in Granada, Spain. In 2021, Brian graduated from Florida International University College of Law in Miami, Florida. At FIU Law, he served as a Research Assistant for Constitutional Law Professor Thomas E. Baker, was an Articles & Comments Editor for the FIU Law Review, and participated on the Moot Court team. Brian received CALI Awards in Constitutional Law and in the seminar course: Law, Business & Politics in Latin America.

Additionally, he had the privilege of interning with the Honorable Kathleen M. Williams of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida as well as the Honorable Adalberto Jordan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

After a year of living in the Miami neighborhood of Little Havana, Brian and his wife moved to his wife’s hometown of Spartanburg, South Carolina. They love to spend time with family, their two boys, and their church.
