Brittney M. Darnell is an Associate attorney in the Charleston office of GRSM and is a member of the Commercial Litigation and Environmental & Toxic Tort practice groups.

Brittney previously served as an Assistant County Attorney for Charleston County Government for more than three years where she handled eminent domain, ad valorem tax, and planning and zoning matters.

Brittney was born and raised in Charleston. Prior to attending law school, she worked as paralegal handling personal injury and workers’ compensation matters. While in law school, Brittney volunteered with the Charleston County Housing Court and served as a Volunteer Guardian ad Litem with the South Carolina Department of Children’s Advocacy. Brittney currently lives in Summerville with her husband and their two children.
