Cassandra J. Lamzik

Associate

Cassandra J. Lamzik focuses her practice on representing clients in a wide range of civil litigation matters, including complex commercial disputes, multi-party litigation, personal injury claims, and other civil matters from the early stages of a case through resolution. She is an experienced litigator who represents clients at all stages of litigation and approaches each matter with a focus on thorough preparation, practical problem-solving, and clear communication.

Cassandra regularly handles legal research and analysis, drafts pleadings and dispositive motions, manages discovery, prepares and defends depositions, and assists clients in navigating all phases of litigation.

Before entering private practice, Cassandra served as a judicial law clerk at the 13th Judicial Circuit Court of Virginia, where she worked closely with judges on a broad range of civil matters. In that role, she conducted extensive legal research, prepared bench memoranda, and drafted judicial opinions and court orders, providing her with valuable insight into the judicial decision-making process. During law school, she further developed her litigation and legal writing skills through a judicial internship at the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia, gaining firsthand experience with federal court proceedings and the administration of justice. These experiences continue to inform her practical and thoughtful approach to advocacy on behalf of her clients.
