- Stopped a trustee’s sale of trust real property four days after intake, through an ex parte application seeking his suspension and a restraint on the sale, backed by a recorded lis pendens. The trustee deeded the property back into the trust and settled on terms that roughly doubled what the beneficiaries stood to receive.
- Established a client’s entitlement to a decedent’s trust instrument by arguing that the will offered for probate incorporated the trust by reference, against opposing counsel’s position that no such right existed. Obtained the complete estate plan and the drafting attorney’s file, totaling in 216 pages.
- Carried a conservatorship through an interstate transfer from Virginia to California for three co-petitioners and obtained final California orders, with the conservators’ authority maintained throughout.
