As a former prosecutor, Cory has extensive trial experience.

Prior to GRSM, Cory was an Assistant Hennepin County Attorney and handled a large caseload of violent, felony offenses. Cory negotiated just resolutions, litigated complex pre-trial issues, and tried multiple cases to verdict.

In law school, Cory was a member of the Moot Court team and won an award for the highest grade in an Appellate Level Writing Course. Outside of work, Cory is a die-hard Minnesota sports fan, an avid golfer and softball player, and a novice (but ambitious) skier.
