Danielle M. Barfield focuses her practice on commercial litigation, professional liability defense, and general liability matters. Danielle represents individuals and companies in both state and federal court. Danielle represents professionals in the healthcare and construction industries in matters related to professional negligence claims. She also focuses her practice on product liability, premises liability, and negligent security claims. She has a passion for advocating for her clients through persuasive writing and oral arguments, and prioritizes client communication. Danielle has extensive experience handling all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation.

Prior to joining GRSM, Danielle focused her practice on long term care negligence defense and general liability matters. She was also a judicial law clerk during the founding of Florida’s Sixth District Court of Appeal. Prior to private practice, Danielle was an attorney ad litem, representing special needs children involved in the child welfare system in dependency proceedings, as well as assisting with their educational, health, and safety needs.

Danielle is an active member of the Florida Bar, as well as the Florida Defense Lawyers Association and the DRI. She is admitted to practice in all Florida State and Federal courts.
