David Kincaid is an Associate in GRSM’s Insurance practice. He concentrates his practice on complex insurance coverage and first-party bad faith litigation in state and federal courts throughout Florida, Washington, and Oregon. He closely assists carriers with coverage/exposure issues involving breach of contract and extra-contractual claims, tort of bad faith/negligence, potential violations of consumer protection and insurance fair practices acts, and breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing in both property and liability contexts. By interpreting and analyzing coverage issues related to first-party insurance policies, David develops and executes a comprehensive litigation strategy that achieves the clients’ goals.

Prior to joining GRSM, David was lead Florida counsel for a Seattle firm and in solo practice, where he defended clients’ property interests in real estate transactions and represented consumers in timeshare disputes, including securing a mass global settlement against a national timeshare developer.
