Ellie began developing her legal skills during her undergraduate studies, where she served in a leadership role on her university’s Student Conduct Review Board. In this position, she oversaw disciplinary hearings and worked to maintain a safe and respectful campus environment. Through this experience, she became well-versed in due process, evidentiary standards, and institutional regulations.

While in law school, she further expanded her legal expertise by spending two summers as a law clerk at a transactional law firm specializing in environmental and land-use law. There, she gained significant experience in legal research and writing and became well-acquainted with the California Environmental Quality Act.

Ellie also held leadership positions in law school in several organizations, including OutLaw, Students for Reproductive Justice and the Dispute Resolution Law Journal. She focused her studies on dispute resolution, developing extensive knowledge in mediation and arbitration. As a certified mediator for the Los Angeles Superior Court, she assisted pro se litigants in resolving small claims disputes. She also served as a mediator for divorcing couples at the Jewish Divorce Assistance Center, where she enhanced her cultural competency in the Jewish divorce process, as well as the legal divorce process.

After law school, Ellie gained a strong background in real estate litigation, probate litigation, and estate planning. She has experience handling unlawful detainer actions, quiet title actions, breach of contract disputes, and elder abuse cases, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. With a diverse legal foundation spanning litigation, dispute resolution, and transactional law, Ellie is dedicated to providing strategic and effective legal solutions for her clients.
