Frances Heredia is an employment law attorney who represents employers ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses in a wide range of workplace matters. She advises clients on compliance with California’s evolving labor and employment regulations and defends employers in litigation involving wage and hour disputes, class actions, PAGA representative actions, and claims of wrongful termination, retaliation, discrimination, and harassment.
- Obtained full board dismissal of Accusation in matter before the California Veterinary Board that was pending before the Board for 8 years. Action occurred in 2017 and dismissal was granted in 2025.
- Obtained second Accusation dismissal from the Contractors State License Board of California in 2025, preserving the business owner’s ability to sell and retire as planned.
- Granted Motion to Compel discovery production against the California Veterinary Board (2025) by demonstrating the Board’s goal was punitive.
- Settled an $85,000 employment law claim for a van worth $2500 so employee could start his own business. Employee also wanted apology but client wouldn’t budge.
