Frederic Schaefer Jr. began his legal career at the University of Miami School of Law, where he joined the Maritime Law Society. After completing his first year at U.M. Law, he transferred to Florida International University College of Law and began working as a part-time law clerk and summer associate.

While doing so, Frederic achieved Dean’s List during every semester at F.I.U. Law and received the Cali Book Award in Legal Skills & Values III. In 2023, he graduated from F.I.U. Law towards the top of his class with an award of magna cum laude.
