G. Dewey Hembree III is an experienced trial attorney who advises clients on commercial litigation with a focus on title insurance, consumer finance, mortgage servicing and other business disputes. In his many years of practice, he has represented clients in more than 100 trials to verdict, including numerous jury trials, in both state and federal courts throughout Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee and Texas. He has also handled cases before bankruptcy and state and federal appellate courts.

Dewey defends title insurance companies and their insureds in litigation arising from disputes over both lender’s and owner’s policies as well as in general litigation matters. He represents mortgage lenders and servicers and other entities in consumer finance litigation.

Dewey also advises clients in complex real estate and other business and commercial transactions. He represents clients in commercial and residential real estate ventures and advises privately held businesses and startups in all aspects of business formation and corporate governance. He also helps clients obtain appropriate licenses, permits, and other state and local authorizations including zoning approvals.
