Gabriel C. Toth, Jr. advises clients on complex litigation and regulatory matters, with a focus on corporate litigation, medical malpractice defense and the cannabis industry’s licensing, compliance, and operational frameworks. He manages a high-volume docket of complex civil matters, from discovery and depositions through motion practice and pretrial proceedings, and partners with carriers and experts to drive efficient, defensible outcomes. Gabriel also brings first-hand industry experience from senior roles in cannabis cultivation and manufacturing, where he led regulatory planning, SOP development, and state licensing submissions for New Jersey facilities.

Clients engage Gabe to navigate mission-critical issues where litigation strategy, regulatory compliance, and technical subject matter intersect. He has conducted and defended dozens of depositions, argued motions including dismissals for invalid affidavits of merit and summary judgment following expert challenges, and coordinated multi-party defense strategies with physician and economic experts. In the cannabis sector, he co-founded a law firm practice group, handled licensing and regulatory matters, and presented at industry panels, including before the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission.

Grounded by judicial clerkship experience and hands-on operational leadership, Gabriel offers practical, business-aligned counsel. He has participated in more than a hundred pretrial and case management conferences, managed discovery across medical records and expert materials, and led compliance programs spanning cultivation, testing, packaging, labelling, recordkeeping, and inspections.
