Gabriella Scarmato is an Associate in the New York office of GRSM and a member of the Commercial Litigation Practice Group. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, professional liability, and general liability matters through all phases of litigation and dispute resolution.
- Obtained summary judgment on behalf of an excavation contractor, in a lawsuit arising out of a trip and fall incident occurring adjacent to a project where the contractor was working, based upon a theory of an open and obvious condition.
- Obtained summary judgment on behalf of an LLC and owner of a premises in a lawsuit arising out of the Labor Law wherein plaintiff claimed he became injured when he fell off a ladder while dismantling decorations for a wedding.
- Obtained pre-discovery dismissal on behalf of an LLC in a lawsuit in which plaintiff alleged personal injuries, based on lack of ownership.
- Obtained summary judgment on behalf of client, New York socialite, in a lawsuit arising out of defamation.
