Geraldo E. Parrilla

Associate

Geraldo Parrilla focuses his practice on commercial litigation, construction, healthcare, insurance defense, premises liability, and professional liability defense. Geraldo uses the breadth and depth of his professional experience to defend healthcare practitioners, healthcare institutions, public entities, businesses, and contractors in both state and federal courts.

Geraldo hails from New Haven, Connecticut where he graduated from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2019. After clerking for two years at the Connecticut Appellate Court and United States District Court for the District of Connecticut, Geraldo relocated to Denver in 2021 to work as an associate at a litigation boutique, focusing his practice on medical malpractice defense in the Mountain West region. Over the last several years, Geraldo has broadened his practice to handle a variety of civil litigation matters involving healthcare, professional licensing, and general liability defense. He has helped various clients prevail in mediation, arbitration, and trial.

At GRSM, Geraldo’s focus is to help protect the reputation and livelihood of his clients. He leverages his varied experience to identify key facts, craft defense strategies, draft dispositive motions, and achieve early resolution, when possible, through summary judgment and favorable settlements.

Outside of his practice, Geraldo serves as the chair of the Business Development Committee of the Colorado Hispanic Bar Association. He also volunteers as a mock trial coach and a student mentor for Law School Yes We Can. He is passionate about equal access to justice and student mentorship in underserved communities; and he hopes to continue finding ways to serve marginalized groups in Denver metro and beyond.

In his free time, Geraldo enjoys traveling, attending concerts, camping, kayaking, and rooting for the New York Mets, Jets, Knicks, and Rangers.
