Gina Stassi focuses on defending auto manufacturers and retailers in consumer warranty litigation in California state and federal courts. Gina is known for her aggressive approach to litigation and for developing and implementing creative legal strategies and arguments for her clients’ benefit, both immediately and long-term. Gina regularly appears in court to argue important motions and enjoys any opportunity to gain additional courtroom experience, especially at trial.
- Second chair at trial that resulted in complete defense verdict for auto manufacturer in a case involving breach of express and implied warranty claims under California’s Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act.
- Researched, wrote, argued, and successfully opposed multiple motions to compel discovery on similar grounds in multiple cases brought by the same plaintiffs’ law firm against auto manufacturer client.
- Investigated and identified a key new category of defendants and developed a separate theory of liability under California’s Insurance Frauds Prevention Act that significantly increased the overall value of insurer client’s portfolio of cases involving similar medical billing fraud schemes.
