Hailey Schimmel represents domestic and international clients through all stages of litigation, including pre-litigation, pre-trial, and trial. Hailey is able to advise clients who bring or face claims of fraud, breaches of contract, and violations of state privacy laws. She works closely with businesses to protect, defend, and enforce intellectual property assets across a wide range of industries including entertainment, sports, art, health, consumer products, fashion, beauty, retail and other industries.

Hailey understands the implications that businesses face either bringing or defending claims during litigation, which is why she centers her representation on the client’s desired outcomes through the creation and execution of a strategic litigation plan.

Hailey also understands the importance of mitigating risks by preventing problems and crafting proactive and creative solutions. Hailey’s IP and commercial litigation practice focuses on intellectual property and commercial litigation matters for domestic and international clients, including:

Prior to joining GRSM, Hailey was an Associate Attorney at a business litigation firm where she gained invaluable motion drafting and oral advocacy experience focusing on contract disputes and shareholder oppression claims. Preceding her time as an Associate Attorney, Hailey clerked for the Honorable Brian Pickell of the Circuit Court for the Seventh Judicial Circuit of Michigan, where she honed her legal writing and research skills and assisted with pre-trial hearings and trials. During law school, Hailey served as an Associate Editor on the Journal of Business Law. Also, during law school, Hailey participated in the Judicial Externship program where she clerked for the Honorable David Grand of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and in the Corporate Counsel Externship program where she was an extern for a regional media company.
