Justine is a tenacious civil trial attorney with a pragmatic and hands-on approach to litigation. Part detective, storyteller, and champion, she channels her love of education into learning new areas of law and developing her legal acumen. Justine provides everything from pre-claim counseling, training, and advice to clients on risk mitigation and best practices for avoiding future claims through trial and arbitration. Justine maintains a robust remote litigation practice which includes Labor & Employment, General Liability, Professional Liability, and Commercial Litigation throughout California.

Justine’s labor and employment practice focuses on the defense of employers in a variety of administrative and civil claims, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, labor disputes, and wage and hour violations. Justine also represents businesses in an assortment of Commercial litigation disputes and in defense of personal injury claims. Justine’s Professional Liability practice includes the defense of real estate agents and brokers, insurance agents and brokers, lawyers, escrow, and homeowners’ associations. She also has extensive experience defending personal injuries arising from a myriad of events.

Justine has an assortment of interests but mostly spends her spare time with her children, reading, watching Buckeye football, or hiking and camping with her spouse, kiddos, and adventure dog.

  • Secured dismissal of claims against real estate broker client following successful demurrer.
  • Obtained dismissal for waiver of costs on alleged pregnancy discrimination claim following compelling statement of facts provided concurrent with initial disclosures.
  • Obtained dismissal following filing of motion to dismiss for lack of subject matter jurisdiction in Federal Court.
  • Obtained a full arbitration award on behalf of the firm’s client, a healthcare provider network.
