Melina Valladares focuses her practice on employment litigation and counseling, representing employers through all stages of litigation and advising businesses on complex workplace issues. She also supports clients in a variety of civil ligation matters, applying the same strategic and business-oriented approach across every stage of a dispute.

Prior to joining GRSM, Melina practiced with a national labor and employment firm, where she represented employers in state and federal litigation, administrative proceedings, and day-to-day employment counseling. Her experience includes defending claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, disability accommodations, leave management, and workplace investigations, as well as representing employers before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the New Mexico Human Rights Bureau (HRB).
