Isaac Bensaid focuses his practice on commercial litigation, environmental and toxic tort litigation, and insurance defense. He assists clients through all phases of litigation, including legal research, motion practice, discovery, case management, and trial preparation. Isaac works with litigation teams defending matters involving trucking accidents, asbestos litigation, environmental claims, and business disputes.

Isaac earned American and Canadian Juris Doctor degrees through the dual-degree program offered by the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and the University of Windsor Faculty of Law. During his final year, he ranked seventh among 74 students in Windsor’s Dual J.D. program and served as Senior Editor for the Windsor Law Review. He received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Advanced Advocacy, Business Entity Formation, and Advanced Intellectual Property. His Advanced Advocacy award recognized him for writing the class’s top-ranked U.S. Supreme Court brief.

In 2025, Isaac became the first University of Windsor law student to win the IIC National Law Student Writing Competition. His winning article, “Comparative Analysis of Bankruptcy Policy in Canada and the United States,” was accepted for publication in the IIC Journal by Thomson Reuters. As a Research Assistant, Isaac analyzed more than 1,000 court decisions for a project accepted for presentation at the 2025 Harvard Law Obligations Conference. His scholarship has also explored lawyers’ ethical duties when using artificial intelligence.
