Jacklyn J. Kim focuses her practice on environmental and toxic tort litigation, personal injury defense, and trial practice. With more than 20 years of litigation experience, Jacklyn represents insurance carriers and insureds in complex litigation matters. She advises clients on liability, damages, case valuation, settlement strategy, and regulatory compliance issues. Jacklyn’s clients include national corporations, small businesses, and commercial trucking companies.
- Obtained a complete defense verdict in a negligence case tried in Orange County Superior Court after successfully proving fraud by a driver and her phantom passenger, 2019.
- Won a Motion for a Judgment on the Pleadings in Los Angeles County brought against a local business in a high-stakes breach of contract matter, 2017.
- Won demurrers on fraud and punitive damages, with our motions being granted without leave to amend, 2016.
- Participated in a jury trial in Los Angeles Superior Court, resulting in a verdict which was less than 10% of Plaintiff’s Offer to Compromise, pursuant to Section 998 of California’s Code of Civil Procedure, 2019.
