James obtained a joint degree J.D. / M.B.A. from SUNY Buffalo.   Prior to law school, he attended New York University, majoring in philosophy.  While in law school, James was a Publications Editor for the Buffalo Law Review, and the Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Human Rights Law Review.  He was admitted to the bar in 2012. He has appeared and argued in countless civil and criminal cases in New York State from local town courts, County Courts, Supreme Court, Bankruptcy Court and the Appellate Division. He has successfully represented individuals and corporate clients in hundreds of actions and prides himself on his depth of knowledge and experience in New York Civil Practice.

While the focus of James’ career has been in civil litigation, he also has significant experience in criminal court.  He acted as a Public Defender in Livingston County where he represented individuals facing felony charges.  In private practice, James was known for his successful defense of homeowners facing foreclosure throughout the Buffalo and Rochester areas.  James has participated in complex civil litigation matters and is highly knowledgeable in discovery and motion practice.  James excels in ensuring that his clients understand the legal process.  He uses his background and experience to guide his clients through whatever legal issues they are facing, while providing them with top quality service availing himself of his diverse knowledge and experience.
