Jason C. Scott, Co-Chair of the Artificial Intelligence Practice Group, advises companies of all sizes, including start-ups, on domestic and international artificial intelligence (AI) laws and frameworks. His practice focuses on AI regulatory compliance, organizational AI management systems, and related data privacy concerns. He is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals.

Jason also has a robust litigation practice related to technology, privacy, cyber, and commercial matters. He has represented hospitals, hedge fund financing companies, municipalities, an Ivy League university, and companies of different sizes in various types of complex litigation. His litigation practice has included privacy/wiretapping claims, Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) actions, class actions, cases involving unfair and deceptive trade practices, trade secret misappropriations, and breach of contract matters. Jason regularly tries cases for his clients.

Before becoming an attorney, Jason worked at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government in the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government and the Malcolm Wiener Center for Social Policy. There, he researched U.S. foreign policy and international law issues for faculty publications, edited and proofread journal articles and book manuscripts, and oversaw course material production.

He is admitted to practice in New York, Connecticut, and the District of Columbia. Jason graduated from Pace Law School where he was a member of the Pace Environmental Law Review. He also holds master’s degrees from Harvard and SUNY New Paltz and obtained a Certificate from Cornell University entitled Designing and Building AI Solutions.
