Jeffrey M. Woo

Senior Counsel

Defense attorney Jeffrey M. Woo is Senior Counsel at the San Francisco office. He represents both institutional and individual clients in a wide variety of tort and personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, landlord/tenant disputes, and premises liability lawsuits.

Jeff draws upon his 12+ years of legal experience to examine and analyze his clients’ legal issues, advise and update them on efficient means and options for resolution, and represent them throughout the litigation process from pleading to post-trial.

Jeff has worked in numerous facets and fields of the legal industry, from trust/probate, landlord/tenant and premises liability, family law, and personal injury. He leverages his wide range of experiences and perspectives to his practice and strives to achieve favorable and practical results for his clients.

Before joining GRSM, Jeff worked alongside its Lyft Practice Group in a multi-million-dollar personal injury lawsuit that featured claims of traumatic brain injury and dozens of expert witnesses for both plaintiff and defense, leading to a incredibly favorable verdict for the defense after 20-plus days of trial. His contributions in discovery and at trial were integral to the defense’s successful outcome.

Jeff is a native San Franciscan. He attended the University of California, Berkeley, for his bachelor’s degree in biology; San Francisco State University, for his master’s degree in literature; and Golden Gate University, for his J.D. and LL.M. He has worked for nonprofit organizations and both federal and state court prior to joining GRSM. In his spare time, he enjoys wine and whiskey tastings and achieved Level 2 Certification in Wine from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET).
