In her employment law practice, Jenna represents employers in federal and state court and before the EEOC, NLRB, and state and local agencies. She defends against claims of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful termination, and wage and hour disputes, conducts internal workplace investigations, and advises on compliance matters. Her counseling work includes drafting and reviewing employee handbooks, workplace policies, confidentiality agreements, restrictive covenants, and separation agreements.
Jenna also defends nursing homes and long-term care facilities in medical malpractice, survival action, and wrongful death litigation, handling matters from case evaluation through trial.
Her landlord-tenant practice includes representing residential and commercial landlords, as well as long-term stay hotels, in eviction matters involving nonpayment of rent, holdover tenancy, and wrongful detainer. She also advises clients on lease drafting and enforcement.
Before joining Gordon Rees, Jenna practiced at a nonprofit organization in Los Angeles, where she represented parents in child welfare proceedings. In that role, she managed a high-volume caseload through all stages of litigation, gaining extensive courtroom experience and strengthening her advocacy and client counseling skills.
